Group HR Manager
A wellestablished local conglomerate group of companies specializing in hospitality is seeking a Group HR Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi.
You will report directly to the CEO and will lead and manage all Human Resources functions and responsibilities. You will be responsible for designing managing and implementing systems policies and processes for enhancing the work environment and employee satisfaction including compensation and benefit systems classification structures recruitment employee development and training performance management human resource policy administrationcompliance and laboremployee relations.
Other responsibilities will include but not limited to
• Design manage and execute simple effective and bestinclass policies and processes covering all aspects of human resources including compensation management training and development recruitment employee affairs
• Improve the working environment for the company’s employees balancing the needs of the organization and those of the staff
• Plan and organize workloads and staff assignments
• Own and disseminate the company culture throughout the organization further to the guidance of the CEO and the senior management team
• Ensure a proper culture of communications from the HR department to the rest of the organization and within the different departments of the company
• Facilitate discussions of employee and Company interests in meetings committees and others on issues related to HR policies and practices
• Prepare annual manpower budget and ensure effective and efficient use of budgeted funds personnel headcount
• Present departmental and Companywide HR issues and recommendations requiring policy direction to company management
• Inject Company values into HR activities to effectively contribute in building and maintaining an energetic productive and attractive workenvironment
• Train motivate and evaluate assigned staff and reviews progress and directs changes as needed
المهارات
To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following skills and attributes
• You should have at least 5 years’ of experience in HR
• Experience in the Hospitality industry will be highly preferred
• Experience in UAE in a similar role is a must
• You must hold at least a BA degree preferable in Human Resources having an MBA is a competitive advantage Professional Human Resources certification preferred
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Excellent command of English and Arabic
• Considerable knowledge of current trends and practices of human resources management
• Knowledge of employee classification compensation and benefits recruitment selection training and labor relations
• Considerable knowledge of managerial principles techniques and practices
• You must be results oriented and able to perform according to KPIs
• Able to set benchmarks and evaluate performance according to KPIs
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
