Legal Assistant

Role Purpose

1. The paralegal position’s purpose is to assist in legal documentation contract negotiations follow up on legal matters with government agencies franchisees vendors amp suppliers as per instructed by the legal director .

2. Ensure conformity with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by reviewing contracts and agreements formed with all concerned parties.

3. To provide accurate and timely legal advice as needed on all corporate matters and law that impacts or may impact on Zohoor Alreef including contract commercial governance and regulation. . To support the legal director in the identification and management of legal risks to the organisation.

Key Activities Decision Areas

1. Assist amp participate in the definition and development of Zohoor Alreef corporate policies procedures and programs and provide continuing counsel and guidance on all legal matters including but not limited to general contracts third party agreements vendor supplier relationships employment law employment contracts franchisees contracts claims trade secrets and on the legal implications of all matters.

2. Judge the merits of court cases filed against or on behalf of the company work with the appropriate executives to define a strategic defense and approve settlements of disputes where warranted

3. Ensuring Zohoor Alreef is up to date and informed of any changes to compliance legislation legal updates and any other such matters that may affect the company business.

4. Supporting internal investigations where appropriate.

5. Maintaining an appropriate data base for recording all legal documents and ensuring the required confidentiality.
