One of our clients on the operator side are searching for a SENIOR EIT ENGINEER

Assignment description:
Clients project group are responsible for development and project management for Mobile Offshore Drilling Units New build program, has currently a high workload with studies for customized design development and technical support/contract follow up of rig new builds for operation in NCS waters. Position located on yard site in Singapore. We are seeking the following candidate: Senior instrument engineer

Tasks and responsibilities:
• Responsible for instrument discipline in the project, this apply specifically to IT systems, ESD fire and gas, CCTV, Telecom, Drilling control and Vessel management system.
• Responsibility includes verification of design and construction processes, MC and commissioning procedure, input criteria’s against Norwegian authority/class/flagstate and Statoil contract requirements
• 3rd party interface requirements ei ROV, Wireline, Coiltubing, Well-test equipment
• Risk identification and commissioning verifications according to the project execution model
• Identifying and follow up issues that can result in operational issues
• Identify , follow up and close out punches
• Participate in site meetings

Competence requirements:
• University/Engineering degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience including
• In depth knowledge of jack-up vessel and drilling control systems
• Typical project attitude, positive in a flexible and changing environment
• Operational and project experience
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate

Workplace:
Onshore, with periods offshore. The main location for this position is on construction site in Singapore, but also with some work in Stavanger.
