Our client is an award winning organization and is a Contractor who has just been awarded a number of high profile projects they are extremely respected in their field.

They have an urgent requirement for a Senior Commercial Manager to help them with a sudden increase in work as they have just won a number of projects.

This role will be based out of their Qatar office.



Job Requirements

o Bachelor degree in Business Administration Quantity Surveying or Accounting or equivalent

o Minimum 12 years working experience in commercial contracts or holding key management position

o Interpersonal initiative analytical thinking decisionmaking and leadership abilities

o Perfect command of spoken and written English

o Ability to perform the Marketing aspect of the Facility Management

o Good presentation skills

o RICS or equivalent qualification

o Good knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001



Key Task and Responsibilities

o Head of Department and overall in charge of Contracts amp Procurement and Logistics departments

o To deliver high quality prompt and courteous Facilities Management services in support to United Group Services customersacirc128153 business needs in a safe working environment

o To liaise with the customeracirc128153s representative regarding all matters outside of agreed delegated levels of authority

o To provide training management and guidance to directly employed staff in accordance with contract and works UGS guidelines

o Lead and overseeing the team daily operations and activities

o Periodic assessment on system optimization and project implementation and building utility support to ensure smooth and safe operation of the building facility

o Support in implementation of Environmental Health and Safety EHS related activities and programs

o To maintain and ensure the building and infrastructures are comply to specification and standard

o To meet KPI requirements set by management from time to time



Accountabilities

o Management of staffs vendors and supplies

o Update daily information on Inhouse TAM database

o Successful completion of scheduled activities. Prompt and courteous response to customer requests

o Maintenance and update the management budget equipment and materials

o Conduct regular service and systems audit

o Guide and upgrade staff technical and management competency

o Prepare site standard operating procedures SOPs

o Generate collate and submission of weekly and monthly reports

o Conduct and review plant operation emergency plan and contingency plan

o Conduct daily operation passdown meeting and update staff of major works project activities or organization goals

o Review work request approval and issuing work order ensure work on time schedule

o Provide effective technical advise and solution to client

o Introduce continued improvement and optimization operation of Facility systems

o Perform emergency support duty if required

o Enforces and adopts safety measures among all of his subordinates

o To assist in the Planning coordinating and controlling all operational activities in accordance with prearranged operating plan and programs.

o Assist in the Operational execution according to the Contract Documents.
