Turnaround Execution

• Coordinates the executing engineers and operations so that all planned maintenance engineering and servicing activities are completed during the Turnaround campaigns.


• Liaises with Operations and Maintenance personnel to ensure shutdown windows and scope of work are defined planned scheduled executed and closed out.


• Ensures Refinery policies and procedures are adhered to.


• Investigates and resolves Turnaround planning and scheduling issues arising during the execution phase.


• Provides feedback for Management Reports on progress of execution activities.


• Guides the Field Supervisor regarding quality and work sequence.


• Resolves conflicts between execution parties to avoid delays and omissions.


• Ensures effective communication between all relevant departments for Turnaround activities.


• Ensures the Turnaround project meets scheduled timelines and milestones and postturnaround performance reviews are undertaken and reported.


• Ensures that the qualifications competency and training of all personnel involved in the Turnaround meet the job requirements.


• Ensures works are carried out as per the Permit to Work PTW procedure.


• Ensures all activities are backed up with Task Risk Assessment TRA.


• Ensures adequacy of manpower for respective units during Turnaround.


• Verifies the estimation by Turnaround contractor for additional jobs.
