Job Title

Methods Plant amp Tools Manager pre construction period

for the Trackworks Riyadh Project Saudi Arabia

Purpose of the Job

Under the responsibility of the Platform Method amp Construction Manager the Method Plant amp Tools Manager will have in charge the following tasks during the preconstruction period

bull Definition of the Track Installation Methods for the mechanized and manual works with specific methods linked to each installation step concrete rail laying welding third rail

bull Comprehensive implementation of the Trackworks standards Good Practices Quality control process EHS rules in the methods.

bull Definition of the work sequences for each laying methodology and affect resources amp tools to define the general workload.

bull Definition of the track installation schedules taking into consideration installation rates possessions logistics installation rates supply needs interfaces with other partners workloads etc...

bull Definition of the track installation staff amp skills for the management of the installation in term of supervisors intendant quality control EHS

bull Preparation amp support the HR department for hiring plan of the installation staff

bull Definition of the suitable Tools amp Equipment to ensure the installation in term of expected functions performances rates and maintenance

bull Ensure the CAPEX process the subcontractors followup the execution contracts for the Tools amp Machinery manufactures and deliveries on the project

bull Definition amp sizing of the TSA Temporary Staging Areas for the whole project and their functions facilities organization and staffing.

bull Definition of the launch amp training phase for the staff mockup areas training plans etc...

bull Definition of the construction logistic and supply chain from TSA to the Work Sites for resources materials staff.

bull Organisation of the maintenance tasks for heavy plant machines and heavy tools involved in construction and staging area activities.

bull Reporting the track construction preparation amp maturation to Platform Director amp Project director every month with key indicators in term of methods TSA installation CAPEX PampT fabrication and delivery Installation staff hiring etc...

Objectives

Definition and Implementation of the necessary methods tools TSA and Staff organisation required for the track installation on the Riyadh Project in the optimal conditions of performances costs quality health and safety.

Measurement

bull Monthly reports with key indicators to Project amp Platform Directors.

bull Completion of key milestones during construction preparation

bull Level of achievement of the track installation at the construction launch

Candidate Requirements

Educational Requirements

Track ConstructionMechanical Engineer or experience in Track construction on similar MRT project

Desired Knowledge Experience

bull Minimum 10 years in Construction Manager.

bull Validated experience in Construction Management amp Plant amp Tools Management for similar projects.
