Job Description

Isolates malfunctions in the Patriot system with ISE equipment when isolation is not accomplished with BITE and other machine aided equipment. Performs repair of the ICC ECS RS CRG BME BMC IFF AMG GMT LRPT and LS. Functionally verifies that the major end items of equipment perform to specified standards. Installs authorized third echelon equipment modifications. Performs test and system integration and checkout SICO of modified equipment as required. Provides onsite technical assistance. Participates in OntheJob Training OJT programs and assists the section officer in enforcing safety policies procedures and standards. Identifies faulty work practices and demonstrates proper maintenance and troubleshooting techniques. Prepares and submits maintenance reports and System Problem Reports SPRs. Performs other related duties as required or directed by the section officer. This is a 2 year unaccompanied assignment located in Tabuk Saudi Arabia.



Required Skills



bull Demonstrated 4 years of field maintenance experience troubleshooting fault isolation repair and functional verifications of the Patriot Air Defense system or similar electronic systems using maintenance diagnostics unit selftests BITE tools and available test equipment

bull Demonstrated experience with Department of the Army Modification Work Order DAMWO installations to include integration and checkout.

bull Successful completion of a Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance Course for MOS 27X34S94S916A918D or an equivalent course of instruction on a similar electronic system conducted by the military or the system contractor

bull Must be proficient in troubleshooting fault isolation repair and functional verification of the ICC ECS RS IFF AMG GMT LRPT LS CRG and Patriot System Orientation Alignment and System Integration and Checkout SICO.

Requires an existing Secret Clearance

bull Demonstrated experience with training of team members

bull Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs

bull Experience living and working in an overseas location

bull Raytheon Six Sigma Certified

Required Education including Major



bull Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering with 4 years of related experience or Associates Degree with 8 years experience or HS DiplomaGED with 12 years of related experience.
