Responsibilities

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES



bull Estimating workload and determining staff requirements

bull Developing approving and coordinating work schedules to ensure that objectives of cost quality and deadlines are met

bull Keeping uptodate on new design processes and drafting techniques

bull Developing and recommending improvements in design standards to lower costs improve work quality and facilitate maintenance

bull Investigating advising and resolving unusual design and field engineering problems by devising new approaches or applying existing criteria in novel ways

bull Developing guidelines

bull Making recommendations to improve unit efficiency

bull Ensuring that effective methods and engineering techniques are used

bull Analyzing problems and conducting investigations and research

bull Resolving project issues and problems.
