We are seeking for aAcircnbspSafety Assurance and RAMSAcircnbspEngineer for a large Project and Construction Management Infrastructure Project in Qatar.

Successful candidate be a part of project related toAcircnbspProjectAcircnbspManagementAcircnbspand Construction of Rail People Mover System. The client Qatar Foundation has decided to implement a People Mover 12km of line viaduct rail system and rolling stock and is commissioning a PMCM to manage the entire project on his behalf.

This position will be reporting to the Construction Manager.

The primary objectives are

• Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe efficient cost effective and timely manner.


• Act as primary technical coordination interface with client to ensure that the client's expectations are satisfied.


• Ensure the project conforms to the client's approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements
  
  Specific Accountabilities are
  
  HSE Management
  
  

  
  
  • Maintains HSE focus within the team to ensure OHSE requirements included in design and procurement
    
    Client Relationships
    
    

    
    
    • Maintains and builds healthy client relationships.
    
    
    • Proactively resolves performance scope and schedule issues with the Client as they arise.
    
    
    • Identifies documents communicates and meets the client's requirement
      
      Commercial Management
      
      

      
      
      • Effectively manages assigned budgets within WorleyParsons' total scope
        
        Scope Management
        
        

        
        
        • Compliance with WPMP.
        
        
        • Compliance with requirements of the contract.
        
        
        • Effective change control process application
          
          Team Management
          
          

          
          
          • Focuses team on achievement of milestones and other key project objectives.
          
          
          • Listens to the team discusses the issues resolves problems and directs activities to remove roadblocks and achieve objectives
            
            Design Management
            
            

            
            
            • Sets clear objectives to the design team including achieving productivity and budget targets.
            
            
            • Ensures design team aware of and complies with applicable regulations and codes.
            
            
            • Manages interdiscipline interfaces effectively

              Job Requirements
              
              Candidate should have the following
              
              

              
              
              • 10 to 15 years project requirements and configuration experience on Infrastructure project rail structures with associated commercial and contractual experience.
              
              
              • Ideally candidate will have a background inAcircnbspSafety Assurance and RAMS Compliance
              
              
              • Rail Transport Experience
              
              
              • Strong understanding and capabilities using MS Office especially Word and Excel
