Lead Operations Engineer D1

Primary objective

Liaises with Company's Operations staff to provide engineering support and project coordination.



Specific accountabilities

bull Reviews analyses and arrives at suggestions for process improvements that affect safety efficiency product quality.

bull Participates in VIPs and Best practices that are associated with operations and Maintenance shutdown and startup plans.

bull Ensures that the project planning focus to ensure highest operational reliability and mechanical integrity of the constructed facilities.

bull Supports the project effort and environmental requirement to ensure safe construction without any accident or environmental incident

bull Develops requirements for operator and maintenance training

bull Ensures the design engineering effort is consistent with the operational needs for safe operating facilities

bull Participates in drawing and documentation reviews including commenting on specific design issues

bull Develops of training and operating manuals

bull Develops of operating procedures including startup shutdown cleanup SimOps etc.

bull Develops operations plans for commissioning and startup activities.

bull Provides operations input in the work scope development including justification and prioritization.

bull Participates in Hazop Reviews to ensure constructed facilities are safe and meet all regulatory requirements.

bull Reviews design drawings to ensure these comply with operations and maintenance requirements.

bull Reviews procurement of equipment and materials that ensures mechanical integrity and reduces operating and maintenance costs.

bull Leads and Directs activities of Operations Engineers as appropriate.



Essential skillsexperience



bull NA Chemical Mechanical Engineering

bull Minimum 15 years total post graduation experience

bull Minimum 10 years oil and gas post graduation experience

bull Minimum 5 years experience in same designation

bull Minimum 3 years experience In software application for same speciality
