  Bechtel is one of the world's premier engineering construction and project management companies. The Waad Al Shamaal program is a 7Bn industrial city development in the Northern Province of the KSA. The King Abdullah Project for Waad Al Shamaal will develop the AlKhabra phosphate deposit establishing six phosphate processing plants other downstream and supporting industries and a residential community it is scheduled for completion in 2016. Bechtel has been awarded several packages in the first phase of the development including the delivery of the Program Management Office PMO which will be responsible to the Saudi Arabian Mining Company Ma'aden for oversight of the full program.
  
  
  
  Role Overview
  
  This position is aimed at a Grade 24 International Assignee IA or International Contract IC and is currently located in Eastern Cement Tower Khobar KSA as a permanent fulltime appointment. It reports operationally to the Program Operations Manager POM and collaborates closely with the Project Administrator. Across Bechtel it will liaise regularly with Media and PR divisions of both Bechtel Civil and MampM Global Business Units GBUs in the pursuit of best practice.

  To deliver multimedia presentations in English and Arabic in support of the Wa'ad Al Shamaal program.

  • Liaise directly with Ma'aden management to ascertain the precise requirement for presentation support offering advice and making recommendations as to technical options costs and timescales.
  
  
  • Prepare innovative presentations in English andor Arabic in support of both Bechtel and Ma'aden elements of the PMO for delivery to audiences up to and including the Royal Court.
  
  
  • Ensure the use of optimal multimedia software to ensure presentational excellence.
  
  
  • Present final designs to the client to ensure suitability.

    • Lead in the development of the WAS website an interactive website that will
      
      
      
      • Enable selected Ma'aden Directors with permissions to access key reports and returns.
      
      
      • Provide broader marketing and information to the general public.
        
        Graphics Design
        
        

        
        
        • Provide graphics support to routine internal weekly and monthly reports and meetings.
        
        
        • Provide such specialist graphics support to the Project Controls Stakeholder Interfaces and Localisation teams as is necessary to develop and enhance their reporting outputs.
          
          Marketing Materials
          
          

          
          
          • Provide such additional marketing materials as are required in support of the WAS program.
          
          
          • Advise and guide PR specialists in the Phosphates and City Development projects on multimedia outputs to support their marketing initiatives.
            
            External Collaboration
            
            

            
            
            • Collaborate with external marketing and presentational specialists where necessary such as writers animators artists sound engineers and programmers.
            
            
            • Lead in ensuring clearance and avoiding infringement of copyright.
