ABOUT THIS JOB



Indirect Tax Analyst Middle East. The successful candidate will report to the MEA Region Indirect Tax manager and will be responsible for ensuring that all indirect taxes are calculated correctly and filed timely



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The successful candidate will be responsible for the calculation of the various indirect taxes VAT WHT IBS etc.


• Monthly filing and monthly reconciliations in BlackLine of all Indirect Taxes in the Middle East


• Perform quarterly and annual reconciliations of all the indirect taxes back to the financial statements.


• To ensure that proper record retention is carried out and we have auditable evidence of taxes paid and filed
  
  ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS amp REQUIREMENTS
  
  

  
  
  • A Degree in Accounting or similar
  
  
  • Minimum of three years' experience in general finance and general ledger or tax accounting
  
  
  • Finance experience in the Middle East.
  
  
  • The candidate must be fluent in Arabic and English and have good communication skills
  
  
  • Good analytical skills and data mining skills
  
  
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills
  
  
  • Able to work alone on technical projects but at the same time must be able to communicate and discuss complex tax issues with various stakeholders.
  
  
  • Must be able to work under pressure and to adhere to deadlines
    
    
    
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS amp REQUIREMENTS
    
    

    
    
    • CA ACCA or CIMA qualification or equivalent
    
    
    • SAP experience
