Training Director

Excel are looking for an individual with an extensive background in training to become the Training Director for a leading helicopter maintenance company in the United Arab Emirates.

The essential parts of this position are

The training director will be responsible for the aviation specific training requirementsnbsplrm. This directly includes pilot training aircraft Sim and ground school. You be a TRETRI pilot who has held a similar position. The TD is also responsible for the engineering training either in house or outsourced in liaison with the ED and HRD.

Reporting to the Accountable Manager the role will entail

• Acting as the GCAA nominated person responsible for the training activities within the company.


• Assisting in developing the companyrsquos business plan.


• Preparing and implementing the strategic plan for training.


• Preparing and administering the annual training departmentrsquos budget.


• Being responsible for conducting all approved company training as required.


• Establishing standards and practices relating to the training proficiency and checking of all instructors examiners and assessors.


• Evaluating the performance of the training department.


• Maintaining liason with the other company departments to ensure that overall company objectives are realised.


• Being responsible to the quality and safety manager for any corrective actions resulting from quality audits.


• Carrying out any other duties assigned by the Accountable Manager.
  
  
  

  We are looking for a highly experienced individual with an extensive background in aerospace engineering training and managing a training department in its entirety.

  
  

  The desired attributes alongside the required experience include well developed interpersonal and leadership skills with effective problem solving ability and a sound financial planningbudgeting understanding. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also essential for the role.
