Pulse International is looking for a Supervisor MRI for an exciting opportunity in Qatar.

Diagnostic Imaging at this Centre offers a comprehensive range of routine and advanced Diagnostic Imaging procedures for women and children equipped with state of the art technology in a completely digital imaging environment. The Diagnostic Imaging department is made up of the following services delivered in accordance with best practice standards whilst being driven by 39clinical evidenceacirc128153 methodologies in a patientcentered environment General Radiography Fluoroscopy Mammography Bone Mineral Densitometry Ultrasound Interventional Radiology Intraoperative MRI CT Nuclear medicine PETCT.

Job Summary

Working as part of a multidisciplinary imaging team the Supervisor MRI under the direction of the Manager MRI oversees the operational activities pertaining to the relevant ultrasound imaging service or program to ensure delivery of a high quality Diagnostic imaging service. The ultrasound imaging service provides inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and interventional ultrasound procedures on paediatric and adult patients on a referral basis and medical research. The Supervisor MRI deputizes for the ManagerMRI is the professional lead in their area of responsibility and responsible for the supervision of the technologists and students within the service to ensure the continuity of service delivery. Through the production of high quality images the Supervisor MRI is responsible to ensure a high standard of service is continually provided to all patients parents and other hospital staff as prescribed in the patient care and facility standards.

Requirements

Essential

• BSc in Medical Imaging or equivalent


• Post Graduate qualification required if base degree is not within the MRI field


• 5 years clinical experience in MRI imaging in a North American Academic Institution or equivalent in the UK Republic of Ireland EU States South Africa Australia or New Zealand or appropriate education


• Eligible for registration with the ARRTCAMRTHCPC or an equivalent licensingaccreditation board as a MRI technologist Eligible for licensure as a MRI technologist in the State of Qatar


• Demonstrated extensive functional knowledge and clinical experience in MRI


• Demonstrated knowledge of Radiology Information Systems RIS and Picture Archiving Communications Systems PACS.


• Demonstrated knowledge of the Joint Commission and Joint Commission International accreditation standards and radiation safety guidelines


• Demonstrated strong analytical and decision making skills


• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Evidence of ongoing continual

• Demonstrated leadership skills


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite


• Fluency in written and spoken English
