Job Purpose

CH2M Hill is hiring a Planner to aid project managers with day to day project management duties for its Infrastructure group

This position is responsible for directing the longrange planning and development program to ensure the best use of organization resources in defining and planning goals objectives and programs for the achievement of organization and growth profitability. This position directs and communicates results of studies to assess organization performance against plans. The incumbent exchanges basic information to complete tasks and activities and interacts primarily with team members. Heshe makes decisions within scope of work instructions and impacts own area through work product.

Job ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities

Supports team members in the preparation of studies impact analysis and impact statements. A significant amount of this work should be done independently and shared with team members to complete the overall assignment.

Assists in the collection of data conducts surveys and performs project research related to impact of proposed project. Expected to analyze and make recommendations based on the data collected.

Assists with the permitting process for internalexternal customers.

Ability to write effectively with minimal need for revisions. Could be requested to write memos for internal or external distribution sections of reports and public involvement material.

The ideal candidate should possess a relevant engineering degree and hold Chartered or equivalent Engineer status e.g. MICE MIMechE



Degree Qualified

1 4 years experience

Efficient Administration skills and understanding of MS Project and Primavera

Good understanding of Project Management process

Previous experience with large project delivery
