The qualified candidate will have successfully managed multiple open shop projects with TIC Total Installed Cost greater than 1.0 B serving as construction manager. Candidate must be willing to accept a field assignment in Saudi Arabia. Experience working on or supporting a construction or full EPCM Iron Ore Nickel Copper Gold or Diamond Mine project is preferred.



a. Manages and coordinates the assignments of work to craft superintendents.

b. Provides management supervision and coordination of a contract managed work

c. Executes field construction activities in accordance with the contract project documents cost estimates schedules safety standards and quality standards

d. Controls project schedule and cost through the efficient use of EPC contractor construction resources including manpower materials tools and equipment

e. Provides input for the development of project budgets and schedules

f. Ensures daily and weekly shortrange planning is communicated and executed to the EPC contractors

g. Reviews design scope and approach and provides constructibility input

h. Works with EPC contractors for the optimal manpower levels to safely and efficiently execute the work to achieve schedule milestones.

I. Manages scope change and scope creep ensuring that all scope changes and trends are quickly and properly identified and documented.

J. Responsible for executing the project HSE program and providing leadership for the health and safety of the project.



Basic Job Requirements



Experience with mining ammoniafertilizer facility process construction

BS in construction management construction technologies construction sciences or engineering preferred or equivalent technical project experience

Minimum of 15 years of experience

Required experience as a Construction Manager
