Job descriptionPOSITION SPECIFICATION VICE PRESIDENT GLOBAL NETWORK PROCESSING RESPONSIBILITIES The Global Network Processing GNP team at Visa has responsibility for protecting and growing processed transactions on VisaNet. The Vice President Global Network Processing will serve as the GNP leader for the CEMEA region.This role will be responsible for the GNP country team across the CEMEA markets and will be expected to champion VisaNet externally and internally as a part of the management team. The role requires solid subject matter expertise on VisaNet in addition to the ability to integrate expertise of the country teams. The role will require strong leadership and management capabilities to support a crosscultural and geographically dispersed team of highly skilled professionals. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Network Processing the Vice President will be expected to interact effectively with all levels of Visa management and staff with a specific emphasis on engaging with CEMEA Senior Management. This position will also involve external interaction and communication with key Visa stakeholders including Banks Governments Regulators Processors and Vendors. The position will be based at the Visaâs regional office in Dubai Specific responsibilities include · Lead the development and manage the execution of the Global Processing Strategy for the CEMEA geographies. o Ensure synchronization with key Innovation Solutions Strategy Sales and Acceptance activities. o Lead and support Network Processing Market leads to ensure country management and sales teams are effectively communicated to in regards to strategies and actions plans are understood by the relevant stakeholders. o Establish and manage to a GNP budget to achieve business objectives. o Ensure activities are regularly reviewed and reported to Global Function and CEMEA leaders. · Manage the identification and assessment of processing trends opportunities and threats in key CEMEA countries o Identify qualify and quantify market specific opportunities in close cooperation with the regional and country teams o Promote an understanding of critical success factors to achieving network processing revenue objectives. o Provide input into design and implementation of general marketing and promotional activities to ensure increased awareness of processing objectives and priorities. · Lead and utilize country team leaderâs Subject Matter Expertise SME to provide processing consultancy to CEMEA teams clients and other stakeholders. o Provide professional advice and consultancy to relevant stakeholders covering both tactical and strategic objectives. o Demonstrate a strong understanding of VisaNet capabilities overall with specific knowledge and leadership of network processing objectives. o Provide leadership to ensure training of relationship management staff with the goal of ensuring relationship management becomes selfsufficient in processing sales and opportunity identification. o Lead and deliver tailored content to articulate the capabilities and Value of VisaNet to a variety of audiences ranging from decision makers in the respective Central Bank Senior Management within the Client and key industry bodies. o Manage and lead a team of Network Processing professionals responsible for the development and management of the VisaNet strategy for specific countries in the CEMEA. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS · Strong communication interpersonal and collaboration skills to influence direction and change attitudes decisions of senior level management and clients · Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management skills including the ability to work effectively within the CEMEA markets. · Strong people manager with a proactive participative management style and ability to develop talent and influence staff across multiple time zones · SME level understanding of Payment and Network technologies required · Sales experience and proven negotiation skills required. · Payments experience in two or more of Visa key markets regions preferred. · Typically requires 10 years experience in payment processing including products and service management and sales · Typically requires 10 years people management experience across multiple geographies · Ability to travel frequently estimated at 1530 · Fluency in English required.
