Title Technical Director for Consulting Design Office in Riyadh



The Role This position is a handson role that requires significant experience in planning organizing controlling and managing a multidiscipline design office for Engineering Architecture Services projects. This role requires people systems and detail design management experience communications skills and a positive attitude.



You will Coordinate manage and direct all engineering design projects to accomplish project goals. Analyze engineering resource requirements and coordinate the staffing levels to ensure smooth and uninterrupted design activities. Coordinate the recruitment of design staff assign direct and evaluate their work and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence. Develop and implement policies standards and procedures for engineering design and allied work performed in the design department. Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports approving expenditures enforcing policy and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services. Review and recommend or approve contracts and proposal cost and effort estimates. Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications. Set and achieve technical goals Efficiency Quality Sustainability HSE etc within broad outlines provided by top management



To perform the job successfully you will possess the following



Education A Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture from a Western University Candidates should be Licensed Architects and LEED AP and experience with BIM and REVIT.



Experience Minimum of 25 years in Architecture Engineering combined with the last 57 years as an engineering or technical manager of a multidiscipline design office of international repute.



Overall Job Knowledge and Performance Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles techniques procedures and equipment to the development of detailed design servicessolutions

Administration and Management Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning resource allocation human resources modeling leadership technique detail engineering design methods and coordination of people and resources

Customer Knowledge of principles and processes for customer satisfaction. This includes customer needs assessment meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Quality Assurance Good understanding or ability to understand the quality assurance regulations standards and guidelines of ISO.



Basic Tax Free Salary up to 45kSAR per month USD 12k or 144k per year.



Benefits 3 months basic salary towards Housing Allowance ie up to a maximum of 135000 SAR per year annual bonus depending on performance company car single or family status Visas available and paid for by the company initial flight plus one round trip return singlefamily ticket to home country per year 30 calendar days holidays medical and health care for employee spouse two children up to the age of nineteen years old if based in Saudi.
