If you can identify with these values you could become the next member of our growing worldwide team We are now looking to strengthen our administration team and are looking for an experienced Cost Controller for our Dubai Office Job Description The cost controller will be responsible for several areas including but not limited to v New LE New Rig · Preparing forms to request new LE’sbank account set up as required · New customer form v Request for setup in oracle · Reporting Coordinating actions required before the LEor rig in actual operation · Organize meetings with buyersCC to plan what needs to happen for new operations · Coordinate approval with line manager for setup required and coordination with other department for new setupLE v AP · Eyeshare approval daily · Actioncoordination of all invoices with issues daily v AR · Review and submit of AR receipt over 1 million prepared by rig accountant – country v GL · Review of accrual documentation and accuracy · All necessary journal entries aside from the standard accrual journals · Review of revenue accrual prepared by Rig accountant – country monthly v IC Transactions · Review and approve of AGIS transactions prepared by rig accountant · High focus review on 1520015700 transactions to move it to AGIS the following month. No transactions more than 30 days old. Cost controller to ensure to have the same balance with the counterparty. v Supervisory role · Training and technical support for rig accountants · Plan and manage the work rig accountant 1 and 2 · Professional technical and career growthsupport of the rig accountant · To evaluate annual performance of the rig accountant v BSR · PreparationReview of BSR and resolving BSR issues v Monthend preparationreporting · Review of PO listing is coding correct is this in line with budgetAFE weekly · KPI economic and technical utilization 1 day of the month · KPI reporting PL and analysis monthly · Sending commitment reports to buyers monthly · Finance calls with rig managers and PL walk through weekly · Providing required information for tax reporting eg WHT VAT · Preparation and submission of management reporting package monthly v Ad hoc reportingtasks · Upward update about weekly finance calls with rig manager in finance meeting weekly · Attend meeting for quarterly LE KPI conference call BSR v Budget exercise responsibility from A to Z v Audit Support · SOX internalexternal audit · Financial audit in the country Qualifications Degree in Business Accountancy Finance related discipline CPA ACCA CMA equivalent certification is an advantage. Minimum 4 years responsible accounting or bookkeeping experience with strong software knowledge experienced in financial statement preparation and detail oriented Adapt knowledge and application of GAAP Must have excellent English communication skills Ability to work independently can multitask proactive accountable loyal inspirational and safetyconscious Possess a strong personality supervisory skills and analytical skills Flexible to work more than the regular hours on seasonal business needs and may be at the office on weekends Excellent command in excel spreadsheet preferably advance level Travel requirement is expe more...
