I am seeking a graduate or experienced Special Needs teacher to work this private school in Kuwait. The role would see you work in the middle years years 6 to 9 of this K 12 AmericanArabic curriculum school.

The SEN post will see you take on an important EALESL role working with individuals and small groups of pupils with the American component of this bilingual curriculum. A background working with children with emotional behavioural and physical challenges in a school environment is also to your advantage.

You will be working with local Kuwaiti children who come from a middle to high socio background. Teaching staff and management are predominately westerners under the leadership of a Canadian head teacher who will be entering his third year at the school.

Class sizes range from 15 to 25 pupils across the middle school. The role would suit a candidate sensitive to teaching in an ArabicEAL environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to taste teaching in the Middle East for the first time or a graduate looking for some long term job security. You must hold a Bachelors qualification to be considered with either a ESL SEN Primary Middle or Secondary speciality.
