Server Engineer for Bahrain

VAM Systems is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India. VAM Systems is currently looking for Server Engineer for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions: Skill set required: 7+ years of experience in similar roll Bachelors or Professional Degree in computers or IT related Microsoft and Cisco certificates and experience is a plus Strong Microsoft server system knowledge and intermediate Cisco administration experience. Good storage systems analytical and administration skills IT Security implementation experience Patching and imaging systems experience Monitoring and alerting system expertise Networking capability (DNS, Wireless, Switches, VLANs, IPSEC tunnels, Firewalls, etc.) Server and workstation hardware and Windows OS Storage system experience (iSCSI, DAS, SAN, RAID) Exceptional mix of technical confidence and outstanding people skills Superb customer service and passion for delivering customer satisfaction Demonstrated ability to triage and escalate issues efficiently Ability to prioritize tasks reach out for assistance when appropriate Demonstrates consistent tact, discretion, and sound judgment when dealing with confidential information and interactions with senior and executive level staff Vendor management experience in managing the vendor support and infrastructure projects Roles and Responsibilities: System implementation and administration of below technologies Microsoft AD, Microsoft Exchange on-prim/online, Office 365, Microsoft SQL, SharePoint, SCOM, SCCM and OMS Cloud infrastructure management (Azur or other vendors) Skype for Business, Jabber VM Ware servers, Symantec Backup Hardware administration \ management of HP Servers, SAN Storage and Backup drives Cisco Products (FW, ESA, WSA, IP telephony devices) NetScaler CCTV, Fire Alarm, CCU, Generator, UPS User ID management in Microsoft AD, Exchange, SQL, SunGard, Finance and HR applications On-call rotation responsibilities to provide highly infrequent but as-needed emergency support  Test and implement software applications DR BCP process review and test Provide support to helpdesk team to resolve issues IT daily monitoring and reporting activity Business application support End user support using ServiceDesk system The Server Engineer has one primary objective: Provide high level of IT Support IT team and business.   Key Accountabilities: Microsoft server, private/ public cloud management, Server and Storage Hardware support, Business application IT support, Networking devices administration and End user Support.   Domain: Insurance Terms and conditions: Joining time frame:  1 month The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems – Bahrain and shall be deputed to one leading Organizations in Bahrain.
