Senior VB.Net Developer

We are currently recruiting for two Senior Software Developers to join our team. This position will be highly demanding and highly rewarding for the right candidate. The role is based in Alexandria, Egypt. Only Alexandria residents should apply. Work hours will include some night shift work on a rotating roster (one week a month) The main daily duties will be to work on development task as well as provide support to end users' escalations from first level support. The tasks will be related to the following: 1- Changes and New Development to an existing VB.Net win forms applications 2- Changes and New Development to an existing VB.Net website (using Ajax Controls) 3- Changes and New Development to reports built in SSRS 4- Changes and New Development to data exchange imports built in SSIS 5- Changes and New Development to existing web services 6- Perform database tuning and maintenance tasks 7- Designing and implementing new solutions as needed for systems integration 8- Provide support and assistance as needed for junior developers 9- Providing user support on a daily basis for all user issues and escalations The right candidate must have the following combination of education & experience: 1- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar 2- 5+ years experience working with .Net framework (VB.Net experience is a plus) 3- 5+ years experience working with SSRS & SSIS 4- 5+ years experience working with MSSQL TSQL 5- 5+ years experience working with web-services 6- Complete understanding of the full SDLC 7- Fluent English is a must (reading, writing, & speaking) 8- Proven ability to design and implement new solutions 9- Proven track record as a team leader providing support to junior team members Candidates shortlisted will be contacted for a phone interview.
