Submitting your CV to different hospitals/clinics in Middle Eastern countries of your choice. 3. Scheduling of a face to face/SKYPE/telephone interview with hospital management on request from the hospital. 4. LIVING AND WORKING IN AL AIN CITY UAE Man settled in Al Ain Area since seven millennia. Since its early days, Al Ain has been a focal point for its surroundings. In the past, desert caravans visited Al Ain regularly to get provisions. Today the city is a booming tourist attraction. The existence of fresh water has supported wide palm plantations. The city has developed from seven main palm oases where people have built their houses and forts since early ages. The city is served by many tourist facilities which combine traditions, heritage, history and modernity. Al Ain is the third largest city in the UAE. According to the most recent census, it has a population of about 400,000. It is located in the Eastern Region of the emirate of Abu Dhabi, about 140 kilometres from Abu Dhabi and 120 from Dubai. It borders the town of Buraimi in Oman. Its renowned tourist attractions are essential components of the tourism industry in Abu Dhabi Emirate in particular and the UAE in general. Covering 12,955 km2, Al Ain is surrounded by mountains from the East and Empty Quarter Desert from the South-West. Climate: Al Ain has a sub-tropical, arid climate. Sunny, blue skies can be expected most of the year. Rainfall is infrequent and irregular, falling mainly in winter. The downpours can be spectacular. Al Ain's normally dried up river beds - the wadis- can become raging torrents. Temperatures range from a low of about 14C° in January to a high of about 49C° in August. Clothing: Lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings (or, for instance at the top of Jebel Hafeet). Care should be taken not to give offence by wearing clothes which may be considered revealing. Normal swimwear is acceptable around hotel pools. Lightweight suits are advisable for business meetings. Al Ain Shops: The weekend in the UAE is Friday and Saturday when all government offices close. Friday is a religious holiday. Banks and most other commercial activities close from Thursday afternoon to Saturday morning. Where shops operate normally on Thursday and Friday evenings. Many shops close daily between 01:00 pm to 04:00 pm although larger stores are open throughout the day. The souq in Al Ain opens every day but closes at 11:30 am on Fridays for prayers. Al Ain Mall is open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm Sunday to Thursday and from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. Jimi Mall is open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm every day except Friday, when it opens at 02:00 pm.
