JOB TITLE Project Finance Controller

JOB LOCATION Doha Qatar
JOB OBJECTIVE
The finance controller is responsible of controlling large and complex projects by producing accurate financial controls and reports. FC is accountable for monitoring and controlling financial matters related to projects by applying highest standards.
ROLES amp RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages and controls all financial aspects of the project.
Forecasting budgeting Control and meeting attendance. Financial Variance Analysis and reporting skills
Reviews cost estimates after execution and working capital requirements.
Manages contingencies and provisions for contractual and financial risks.
Analyses work in progress and reviews program expenditure expenses correctly accounted for authorized contingencies invoices etc..
Optimizes and monitors sales margins and cash balance.
Cash management of the project cash flow forecasting
Assist in implementing the accounting system for the project in coordination with the group accounting system
Invoicing and contractual cost estimates exercise
Steers Payment approval process
Maintains project cost breakdown structure
Provides the Project Manager and hisher hierarchy with all necessary financial data and any information of possible consequence.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Experience in working in international project environment
7 to 10 years of experience in similar position.
Used to work in project Financial Controller in similar sector
QUALIFICATION amp EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or finance
Master's degree is preferred
Fluent in English
Fluent in French is and added value
PREFERRED SKILLS
Exhibit a strong ability and willingness in meeting deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Team management skills
Effective interpersonal motivational and influencing skills
Promote the highest standards of conduct
Proficient with ERP SAP Excel and powerpoint
