Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer

ABOUT THE JOB

Our Client is one of the leading engineering and construction companies working on the major projects in energy industry worldwide. This residetial position will cover the detailed design and construction phases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain progress quality and accuracy of rotating equipment engineering design work including pumps compressors turbines motors fans.


• Advise on correct rotating equipment engineering design procedures and specifications.


• Participate in preparation of specifications for rotating equipment.


• Participate in factory acceptance testing of all major mechanical and electrical rotating equipment items.


• Assure compliance with international standards.


• Participate in process safety management studies during the entire project execution cycle.


• Provide technical support to the project management team and engage in any specialty services related to the discipline required.

  BACKGROUND

  
  

  
  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Bachelor of Science.
  
  
  • 12 years of experience in oil and gas projects related to rotating equipment.
  
  
  • Experience in different phases of project execution.
  
  
  • Middle East experience is highly regarded.
  
  
  • Proven record of successful completion of rotating equipment engineering assignments.
  
  
  • Strong technical competence.
  
  
  • Strong knowledge of relevant software.
  
  
  • Excellent knowledge of international standards and procedures.
  
  
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
