Our client has succeeded to be one of the world8217s most innovative Islamic investment banks by specialization in creating new financial institutions and in the conception of high value economic infrastructure projects.

nbspThey are currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager to be based in Dubai

nbsp

Duties amp Responsibilities


  • Independently handling the entire finance function for Dubai and as a Finance Director with reporting lines to the Head office Bahrain Group CFO.

  • Preparation of the monthly financial statements into the group reporting system Oracle and month end reviews.

  • Regulatory Reporting Filing ofnbsp quarterly and annual returns with DFSA nbspfor Dubai.

  • Transfer Pricing of Revenue and Costs on a quarterly basis with proper coordination and approvals in place.

  • Deep dive cost analysis reviews and distribution of Cost packs to the Business heads locally.

  • Supporting the local SEO in his special initiatives of cost saving by producing reports on Travel amp Entertainments 8211 Recoverable vs non recoverable from the clients Rentals and Administrative costs and IT spends across the branch on a monthly basis which is used in the monthly review meetings

  • Preparation and distribution of nbspManagement Reporting pack.

  • Reconciliation of actual trades done by the local teams in Dubai with the bookings done in Bahrain.

  • Preparing Service Level Agreements SLA between Finance and various business divisions across the entity.

  • Finalisation of Annual accounts as per IFRS and year end audits for Dubai.

  • Organizing invoices and expense claims collection approvals against Group's policy

  • Liaising with the Bahrain Office for the booking of those invoices expense claims

  • Organizing payment runs including processing of Salaries Online payments

  • Bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow for ensuring that bank accounts are sufficiently funded for future payments

  • checking the final correctness of all payroll EOS and HR benefits claimedpaid

  • Authenticating the calculations done for Final settlements by the HR 8211 proper recovery of HR Salary Advances Leave encashmentsrecovery and gratuity calculations

  • Opening up the new cost centresnbsp and GL accounts in the system

    Qualifications amp Experience


    • Relevant certifications and degree

    • Minimum 8years of experience in a similar filed

    • Previous experience with DIFC

    • Recognized professional qualifications such as CPA ACCA CFA or equivalent

    • Strong leadership ability

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • Analytical mind and decisionmaking ability
