Our client a leading electronics retailer in Kuwait is looking to hire a Category Head for Entertainment TV Mobile and Accessories to develop and implement the strategy and plans to drive category performance and improve the operating results of the retail stores.

Description



Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be primarily responsible for

Develop and implement a category strategy to achieve desired revenue and market share resultsBuying and Merchandising for all brands within the Entertainment TV Mobile and Accessories Product Categories through vendor identification evaluation and negotiationsAchieving category revenue numbers whilst effectively managing Inventory ManagementEffective new product introduction to maximize revenue whilst managing inventory effectivelyExecution of promotion strategies including trade promotions consumer promotions and consumer advertising marketingDevelop amp lead a high performance team of Buyers and Category ManagersFoster a collaborative and supportive relationship between the stores category management and head office support functions to leverage full support





Profile



In order to apply candidates must have the following

Indepth knowledge of and experience in managing various consumer electronics product categoriesExperience in managing a PampL over 30M USDMinimum 8 years experience within consumer electronic retailing and with at least 5 years Category Management experienceMust be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and passion for consumer electronic goods to be able connect with enthusiastsProfessional development in retail strategy category management.
