Audit Head – Retail Banking

Our client is a leading bank in UAE with line of business includes whole range of corporate and retail banking Islamic banking and other services. They are looking for Audit Head of Retail banking with a solid background in retail banking products.

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure full understanding of risks and procedures related to retail banking products.


• 
  


• Responsible in preparing report on audit issues ensuring that it is done in accordance with the set standards including detailed working papers of the findings auditee replies and sample studies.


• 
  


• Responsible in training amp development of the team members.


• 
  


• Perform followup audits with management to ensure implementation of recommendations and appraise the adequacy of the corrective action.

  Skills

  
  

  Ideal candidate must be an experienced internal auditor with working knowledge on retail banking products critical processes and the risks involved in end to end delivery of retail banking products within a bank.
  
  Minimum 8 years’ experience in auditing of credit risk within bankingfinancial institution.
  
  Additional AccountingAudit qualification e.g. ACCA ACA IIACIACPA will be an added advantage.
  
  Excellent report writing skills and strong communication skills both orally and in writing.
  
  Strong experience in audit project management and delivering to timelines while maintaining quality standards.
