Purchase Officer

Responbile for handling the Purchase function internally.

• Purchase or contract for supplies services and equipment required within the limits of the approved budget and in accordance with administrative regulations


• 
  


• Negotiate and recommend execution of contracts for the purchase of supplies services and equipment


• 
  


• Act to procure for the needed quality in supplies services and equipment at least expense to the firm


• 
  


• Manage internal departmental requests and coordinate with exisiting suppliers and target new vendors as and when strategically needed


• 
  


• Keep informed of current developments in the field of purchasing prices market conditions and new products


• 
  


• Supervise the inspection of all supplies shipping and logistical requirements in addition to the invoicing and billing formalities


• 
  


• Coordinate with internal warehouse for surplus and taking into consideration available supplies

  Skills

  
  

  Seeking candidates with experience in handling volume procurement
  
  Must have experience handling local international suppliers
  
  Capable of handling over 1500 PO's annually
  
  Maintain and handle over 6070 suppliers
