Specialized Recruitment Officer
Main Scope of Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in the development of HR planning e.g. creation of manpower plans
Manage and plan recruitment advertisements and events for target employees
Search for suitable candidates using computer databases networks internet recruiting resources cold calls recruiting agencies employee referrals and other media
Liaise with manage and coordinate recruitment agencies and headhunters to fill vacancies
Formulate job descriptions and job advertisements
Screen applications and conduct background and reference checks on applicants
Interview applicants to obtain information on work history training education job skills and assess qualification by using standardized tools
Refer applicants to hiring personnel in the organization and make hiring recommendations when appropriate
Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities consideration and selection
Ensure adherence to all recruitment policies procedures and techniques by employees and managers
Inform potential applicants about facilities operations benefits and job or career opportunities in the organization
Develop and maintain records systems for target employees
Hire applicants and authorize paperwork to assign them to positions
Develop and coordinate continuously new and improved internal administrative procedures to ensure efficiency in operations
Compile recruitment related reports on a regular basis
Pursue any other recruitment related activities as directed by the Head of Recruitment

Skills
Minimum Qualifications Experience Requirements
University degree in business administration organizational psychology or related social sciences
5 years work experience in recruitment management and development at an organization with at least 1000 employees
Professional exposure to banking
Regional experience is required
Solid knowledge of local employment laws recruitment processes and modalities
Excellent verbal and written command of English good command of Arabic language is of advantage
