JOB DESCRIPTION



The Director of operations has accountability for budgeting planning and providing the highest quality

of service to the customer at all times. He ensures all front desk housekeeping and Maintenance staff

provide an air of gracious hospitality to all guests.

The Director of Operations coordinates directs and manages the hotel operations to achieve profitability

guest satisfaction and efficiency while maintaining standards set by the company assuring 100 guest

satisfaction.

Skills

SKILLS



Excellent skills including supervision mentoring and coaching. 

Excellent computer skills. 

Clear and persuasive oral and written communications to individuals and groups. 

Speaking Reading and Writing knowledge of the English Language.  Arabic speaking is a plus.



ABILITIES 

Ability to display excellent Communication Delegation Leadership and Problem Solving skills. 

Ability to promote Team Spirit Creativity and Initiative. 

Ability to analyze cost figures and plan for appropriate action.



EDUCATION CERTIFICATION 



Bachelors Degree – preferred in Hotel Management 

Master Degree in a related field is an advantage.



EXPERIENCE 



Minimum 10 years experience in a 5 star international hotel chain and 3 years in the same position. 

Demonstrated leadership ability and team management. .



DISPOSITION 



Candidate should be Makkah resident or ready to relocate to Makkah or commute on a daily basis.



SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS 



Candidate should be Muslim as only Muslims can enter Makkah according to KSA Law.



WORK CONDITIONS PHYSICAL DEMANDS 



Working in a busy fastpaced environment. 

Physical requirements include standing at least 85 of the shift hearing communicating verbally finger dexterity and performing detailed work at close distances.
