WSP is looking for a Solid Waste Consultant to be responsible for supporting our project execution and delivery. The candidate should be familiar with operational planning and technical issues associated with solid waste collection and treatment.



Responsibilities

Delivering solid waste management consultancy strategies to private and public sector clients

Assisting with the preparation of proposals for standalone waste opportunities and contributing to multidisciplinary bids

Undertaking basic financial analysis and waste generation modeling for waste collection and treatment feasibility and economic analyses

Operational and construction waste management strategy development and reviews for buildings and large mixed use developments experience of working in the building development process and

Providing waste management inputs to masterplans and environmental impact studies.



Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the waste management design field

Knowledge of the solid waste industry including collection transfer recycling and disposal practices and operations

Knowledge of local and national waste regulations and policies

Excellent grasp of the English language

Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and proven ability to communicate results orally and in writing
