Job Purpose

The Principal Repairs Professional will support the Repairs Manager in coordinating and supervising the LOA7 Repairs team tasking.nbsp The Repairs team tasking is to receive check place progress record and complete orders for the repair of SBDCP aircraft and equipment on behalf of the RSAF.

Skills Qualifications and Experiencenbsp
nbsp
The post holder must be a highly experienced supply chain practitioner possessing a current and thorough knowledge and understanding of military aerospace supply chains that has preferably been gained from working within or closely with BAE Systems in a range of appointments over an extensive period of time.

Should have a relevant qualification in the supply chain discipline at either degree or HND level and preferably membership of a professional organisation eg. CILT.
nbsp
Will possess Project Management experience and will have had direct exposure to customers ideally within the Middle East.
nbsp
Will possess excellent verbal and written English language communication skills.
nbsp
Will have the ability to influence management to ensure achievement of key project objectives.
nbsp
Will have the capability to absorb manipulate and analyse large amounts of data and be able to identify the key issues arising from it.
nbsp
Will be highly numerate with commercial aptitude and ability to act upon own initiative utilising creative thinking and analytical methods
nbsp
Will have a high level of computer literacy and experience in using the full range of MS Office applications particularly MS Word Excel and PowerPoint.

Roles and Responsibilities

To be accountable to the Repairs Manager in the successful planning recruitment training and implementation of the LOA7 Repairs team in Dhahran.
nbsp
To supervise the Repairs team in the supply support of the RSAF aircraft and equipment provided under LOA7 of the SBDCP in order to build on BAE Systemâs reputation in KSA.

To liaise with the RSAF as required to ensure that they are updated on the progress of repairs to their equipment.
nbsp
To liaise with subcontractors as required to progress the status of repairs and to ensure that this information is recorded as appropriate.
nbsp
To assist in the planning monitoring and control of the repairs process which includes Risk and Opportunity management Performance management and Life Cycle Management in accordance with mandated BAE Systems business practices.

To produce and present briefs and reports as required in order to update the RSAF MODSAP and the business on the status of LOA7 repairs
