Highway Inspector

AECOM seek a highly experienced Highway Inspector for a Major Highway Project this role will report into the Highway Engineer. This position is located in Doha Qatar.



Duties Include

• 
  


• Inspecting site conditions prior to start of construction activities. Verify the compatibility of the site with the designed permanent works.


• Checking for obstructions. Photograph and document the condition of existing property that might be damaged by the work. Make sure all existing structures property utilities and landscaping are properly protected.


• Inspecting the construction of temporary and permanent works to ensure compliance with the Contract Documenting and approving shop drawings and submittals


• Preparing daily logs and reports. Maintain records of inspections made tests performed work executed etc perform all work in accordance with the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.


• Observing site safety practices and the progress of the work. Report any concerns to the RE.


• Assisting with the inspection of completed works. Help prepare punch lists. Monitor the startup testing commissioning and handover of the works.


• Able to read working drawings and related specifications and be capable of enforcing such specifications and producing relevant reports.

    Minimum Requirements
    
    A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in comparable highway projects is required .
    
    
    
    Preferred Qualifications
    
    Relevant technical qualification University or College is a must.
