Key Responsibilities



bull Diagnosis and repair of Electronic Engine Control units removed from service

bull Analysis of unit removal data to aid workshop visit including airframe data engine data internal unit NVM data.

bull Liaise with Technical support and Field service support to correctly identify root cause of units returned from service.

bull Support investigations and technical queries from UTAS Engine Controls Technical services.

bull Support Technical queries from airline operators and engine manufacturers.

bull Provide specialist electronics support to workshop technicians to meet the MRO turnaround time and business performance targets.

bull Develop and provide training to enhance technical capability of repair base.

bull Diagnose test rig breakdowns.

bull Support test rig upgrades.



Basic Qualifications

Skills Required



bull Relevant Electronics or Aerospace degreeHND preferable or equivalent experience

bull Familiarity with airworthiness technical instructions CMM SB etc.

bull Familiarity with aerospace regulatory requirements EASA FAA GCAA

bull Experience of diagnosing Analogue and digital electronics.

bull Experience in diagnostics techniques and Acceptance Testing Equipment and procedures for complex electronic products.

bull Ability to interpret technical documentation including schematics wiring schedules test specifications.

bull Experience of diagnosing Automatic test equipment used to carry out Acceptance Tests on complex electronic systems

bull Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise own work

bull Emotionally resilient able to work under pressure
