Job Description

• Overall supervision of engineers in the design team


• Technical competence of DCSControlsLivelink engineering personnel


• Forecast requirement for DCSControlsLivelink engineering resources and allocate those resources


• DCSControlsLivelink design integrity of work scope and maintenance of standards


• Identify DCSControlsLivelink software necessary to enable DCSControlsLivelink group to function effectively


• Inter discipline communication development


• DCSControlsLivelink group communication development


• Check compliance with QAsafetyenvironmental goals


• Manage DCSControlsLivelink design and any design changes within budget and schedule


• Evaluate new technology advancements against existing design standards and revise where applicable


• Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives


• Identify and review new technology development which could be applicable in providing more cost effective facilities


• Technical supervision of project designated DCSControlsLivelink designers and draftsmen in the execution of their duty


• Prepare weekly DCSControlsLivelink progress and expenditure reports on a project specific basis
