Quality Control Section Head

Job Purpose



Oversees the activities of quality control section for steel plant operations and production of the Company ensuring production output adheres with the standards and expectations of management and customers.



Accountabilities



•Coordinates with the production unit and sales amp marketing to setupdate the standards with respect to quality parameters and metallurgical process questions.

•Improves internal policies and procedures to conduct quality control checks on products as well as production lines.

•Monitor quality control checks schedules allocate required resources and coordinate with the production units to ensure alignment on schedules.

•Supervises and coordinates trials for cost savings and quality improvements.

•Coordinates all necessary communication instructions and agreements related to the Quality Section and from Management reaches everyone in the shop.

•Follows up availability of equipment and consumables required for the quality control lab and issue MPRs when required.

•Assists in implementing amp continuously improve quality amp other management systems in the company to ensure the systemization of various process amp activities.

•Assists and participates in external amp internal system audits amp follow up corrective actions implemented amp continual improvement achieve.

•Assists the adoption development amp implementation of various initiatives to improve current systems amp introduce new management systems amp technical at the company to increase efficiency amp achieve the company objectives.

المهارات

Qualifications Experience amp Skills



•Engineering Degree Metallurgical Chemical or Industrial Engineering preferred or equivalent technical degree.

•Quality amp Management Systems Audit Certification is a plus.

•7 years’ practical experiences in Quality Control in a Steel Plant or similar process industry sector.

•Excellent written and spoken English Language Arabic a plus.

•High level of analytical and problem solving skills.

•Good computer skills.

•Knowledgeable in ERP systems SAP.

•Extensive knowledge in quality systems tools quality charts and processes.
