With approximately 3000 employees in over 30 countries Swift has an expansive global footprint in the oil and gas recruitment industry. Our client is a major operator with operations in Kuwait. They are looking for a Category Specialist to work as a resident in Kuwait. Responsibilities include Facilitate the Category Team in the analysis of JO spend JO business requirements and associated market capability in order to define sourcing strategy contracting strategy and supplier management strategy for each product service line assigned. Identify and prioritize opportunities to create value. Lead strategic sourcing events for high priority product service lines including the market analysis supplier analysis development of weighted selection criteria and associated questions RFI RFP supplier evaluation negotiation planning and execution supplier implementation plans and award recommendations. Work with Customer groups to develop an Annual Contracting and Procurement Plan. Facilitate the development of supplier KPI's and scorecard with Category Team and suppliers. Coordinate the measurement of supplier performance and facilitate supplier performance review meetings in collaboration with contract owners. Facilitate issue resolution between supplier and customer groups. Assist in development of supplier performance mitigation plans.
