JOB SPECIFICATION EcoMed Job Description: Radiographer- shall manage and supervise the Radiography Section. Must have the knowhow to operate any and all the Radiology Equipment at ECOMED. Shall supervise a staff of 2 junior radiographers (X-ray/Mammo/Dental) and 2 rad assistants. Global Medical Recruiting. ABOUT THE EMPLOYER ECOMED (SL) Limited is a state-of-the-art diagnostic centre; recently established in Freetown, Sierra Leone (West-Africa). It aims to provide a one-stop-shop for primary medical diagnostics (Radiology and Laboratory). Ecomed’s Laboratory Division is equipped with “Highly Automated Clinical Chemistry, Hematology and Immune Analyzers”, and they provide the following Laboratory services: Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Hematology, Clinical Microbiology (Bacteriology, Micro Parasitology, Immunoassay, Serology, Endocrinology) and Phlebotomy Services. The Radiology and Diagnostics Imaging Division is equipped with state of the art technology like 16 Slice CT-Scan, Digital X-Ray, MRI, 4D Ultrasound, Mammogram, Dental Panoramic X-Ray and ECG. The division provides the following services: Breast Imaging, Cardiovascular Radiology, Chest Radiology, Emergency Radiology, Gastrointestinal (GI) Radiology, Genitourinary Radiology, Head and Neck Radiology, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Dental Panoramic Radiology and Echocardiogram (ECG) EcoMed believes, “Your HEALTH comes First.” The Radiology unit is equipped with advanced GE equipment offering: MRI (first and only MRI Nationwide); CT scanner (the 2nd and most CT nationwide), Digital X-Ray; Mammography; Ultrasound 4D; Panoramic Dental X-ray and ECG. The Pathology laboratory (the most advanced nationwide) is equipped with Coulter-Beckman Analysers offering: Biochemistry; Immuno-Chemistry; Haematology; Serology as well as a fully equipped Microbiology unit (List attached).
