ACCOMMODATION ENGINEER

Job Description Our Client is one of the largest Marine Engineering and Ship Repair Facilities in the Middle East based in the United Arab Emirates. The company provides ship repair vessel conversion new building and offshore construction services. We are looking for Engineers for the Engineering Division for structural design of DrillingAccommodation and Jack up Rigs. 10 years experience in outfitting and structural design of which at least 5 years experience in design of Drilling Accommodation jack up Rigs Familiar with rules and regulations relevant to offshore Rigs steel outfit system including MODU code SOLAS CLASS rules Familiar with NORSOK standards IMO and SOLAS rules related to accommodation fire and safety requirements. Required Competencies DegreeDiploma or equivalemt qualifications in Marine Naval Architecture Mechanical or Seagoing Engineers Certificates issued by a competent authority. Training in a reputable shipyard or offshore industry.5 years experience in a similar position in Shipping or Offshore Industry or Seagoing experience. Excellent negotiation skills.
