An exciting and challenging opportunity for Subcontracts Managers to work for a very reputable major player within the Oil and Gas industry.

My client are a major Engineering Procurement and Construction organisation EPC who are looking for well experienced Subcontracts Managers to work on newly awarded high profile projects in the Middle East.

This is a role for Subcontracts Managers who are well experienced in working on EPC projects and who are seeking to continue an already successful and extensive career within Oil amp Gas.

The roles are offered as a rotational position and will be based at one of two different Middle East location.



As the successful Subcontracts Manager your responsibilities will include

PROPOSAL STAGE

Carry out regular evaluation of sub contractors and maintain an updated Subcontractor database.

Support Proposals by obtaining offers from Subcontractors on a back to back

basis for construction and other services.

Conclude partnering agreements with Subcontractors where required.



EXECUTION STAGE

Tendering and finalisation of Subcontracts.

Administration and management of Subcontracts.

Handling of E amp P issues of Subcontractor in close coordination with EP team and Scope clarifications with EP team.

Handling of Subcontractors including scope disputes and closeout in conjunction with Construction Manager.

Correspondence and meetings with Subcontractors and actions close out.

Quantity measurements and certification at site.

Maintain record and track BOQ measurementBOQMTO according to the approved drawings.

Check verify and maintain record of builtsite measurements and quantification for further approval of the Construction Manger.

Remeasure and verify the work accomplished by the Subcontractors and wherever possible try to minimize and control additional quantities claimed

by the subcontractors.

Verification of Subcontractors Invoices.

Payment Certification.

Management of backcharges to Subcontractors.

Preparation of additional Subcontract AgreementsWork Orders with Third Parties in case of default of scope of work on the part of main subcontractors.

Input for budgeting and Cost Control.

Assist Construction Management Team on contractual matters related to Client.

Assist site team on scope of work and split of responsibility.

Identification of Subcontractors weakness and corrective measures.

Assistance to Subcontractor for providing services on request.

Monitor payment to Subcontractors lower tier Subcontractors personnel and cashflow.

Participation in financialContractual Audits.

Monitor incentive schemes with Subcontractors.

Subcontract Closeout



As the ideal candidate for Subcontracts Manager role you will be able to demonstrate the following

EPC Project experience

Onshore project experience

20 years minimum oil amp gas experience

End to end project experience

Middle Eastern experience will be considered advantageous.
