ABOUT THIS JOB



Baker Hughes has an opportunity for a Sales Manager Downhole Drilling Tools to support the Direct Sales Organization in MEAP.

The Direct Sales Organization provides the direct sales of Baker Hughes technology products to strategic customers around the globe. In addition to key drilling technologies formation evaluation pressure pumping and other products the organization will provide technical support after the sale sales of spares upgrades and modifications. This role requires broad product line account management experience and working knowledge across several product lines with existing relationships with the Baker Hughes Leadership throughout the world.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIESACCOUNTABILITIES



  • Ensures the implementation of marketing plans for development of new business within the scope of responsibility.

  • Maintains the customer base acquisition of new customers and penetrates new markets.

  • Exceed sales objectives by promoting Baker Hughes motors' to our customers

  • Build a strong brand identity and awareness of Baker Hughes drilling motors' offerings

  • Grow revenue margin and market share in the MEAP region

  • Manage and maintain integrity with the MEAP sales budget

  • Communicate current and future objectives and technological initiatives clearly within the customer organization at all levels

  • Manage opportunities and technical issues across the entire range of Baker Hughes Motor RentalDirect Sales Offerings

  • Establish market drivers and needs of the market and disseminate back into the Area Sales organization

  • Establish a relationship within strategic customers in the respective area of responsibility and become the focal person and advocate between Operations and the customer

  • Identify opportunities for organic and acquisitive growth within the area of responsibility i.e. entry to market acquisition and technology opportunities

  • Maintain and build integrity in the pricing strategy to ensure maximum profitability and growth

  • Gain market intelligence within a highly competitive environment


    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSREQUIREMENTS


    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

    • 10 years experience in related field.

    • Up to 40 Travel Domestic and International

    • Customer order management invoicing and collections.

    • Knowledge of product quality and reliability assurance processes.

    • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

    • Excellent interpersonal relationships skills and strong business acumen.

    • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and able to deal with ambiguity and change.

    • Effective customer service skills.

    • Flexible and focused on delivering ontime and quality outcomes.

    • Must have demonstrable experience in changing work environments.

    • Ability to work independently with multiple people at many levels and work as part of a team.

    • Extensive knowledge of business plans customer requirements and customer demands.

    • Excellent business acumen and ability to proven abilities to identify organizational efficiencies.

    • Strong negotiation skills.

    • Proven skills in sales and account development.

    • Highly skilled in personal savvy.

    • Ability to leverage market and customer knowledge for account growth.

    • Good computer skills and internet research proficiency.
