Role SummaryPurpose

The Transportation Manager is responsible for the transportation of finished goods between affiliates. This includes integrating new service providers building relations with the service providers transitions driving SOPs implementation and enhancements building proper communications channels with the service providers driving transportation optimization while driving cost out of the business and facilitating a strategic outlook that will better serve all stakeholders.

Essential Responsibilities

Responsible for On Time Delivery SCOT for distribution Overcome road blocks to ensure delivery is made in line with internal and external customers requirements Drive transportation productivity projects Develop coach and lead transportation team setting measurable goals and objectives to evaluate success Support oversee Logistics Leaders in the subregions delivering transportation related tasks assuring quality swift and optimized deliveries Support Last Mile customers deliveries Drive standardization of transportation processes across EAGM. Supports ITC compliance Run regional QBRs with the major freight forwarders in alignment with the Global Logistics. Review the LS factors on yearly basis and request for adjustment where applicable. Work with the regions GSC finance to establish transportation spend per region.

QualificationsRequirements

1. Bachelors degree2. Minimum of 5 years related experience with all modes of transportation international trade compliance financial analysis and project management. 3. Proven execution skills with the ability to meet firm deadlines.4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel Power Point and Access.5. Efficient communication in English

Desired Characteristics

1. Bachelor's degreeMasters degree in a logistics or Transportation Management related field.2. Experience with Distribution Centers 3. Minimum 10 years experience in transportation logistics with a transportation management system within a business of equivalent size with multifunctional teams in a global environment.4. Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and businesses5. Excellent businessfinancial acumen proficient in leading and setting direction for teams including demonstrated ability to motivate influence and drive change at all levels of the organization. 6. Excellent growth leadership skills demonstrating clear global perspective and understand factors impacting GEHC businesses and our suppliers.
