Snr Loss Prevention Engineer amp Snr Safety Loss Prevention Engineer onshore Qatar Brevan Oil amp Gas Services Ltd

We are currently looking for a Senior Loss Prevention Engineer amp a Senior Safety Loss Prevention Engineer to work with our client on a project in Qatar.

Start date immediate duration 3 years competitive salaries rotation 4 months on and 2 weeks leave Single Status accommodation transportation and medical cover is provided by the client.

Qualification

Bachelor degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.

Experience

12 years or more of post graduate experience in oil and gas industry. Of this there should be

minimum 5 years of experience in HSELoss prevention design and engineering of offshore oil and

gas installations. Proficiency in use of process engineering software like PHAworks for HAZOP

PHAST FRED SAFETI amp CIRRUS and the like. Proven technical competency in Loss Prevention

design engineering and ability to carry out project safety reviews HAZOPHAZID sessions and

fire fighting engineering safe and fitforpurpose designs. Thorough knowledge of

industryinternational standards and ability to interpret the same for specific applications.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

149xF020Provides with full responsibility and accountability loss prevention design and technical

services that are in compliance with the latest codes standards and safety regulations for

all stages of project life cycle. Exercise full technical responsibility of the loss prevention

engineering design for all assigned projects.

149xF020Develops cost effective safe and fit for purpose loss prevention engineering solutions to

suit corporate requirements. Ensure full life cycle costs are taken into consideration during

decision making process for design.

149xF020Coordinates interface and provide inputs with other parties activities for all assigned

projects on technical matters project schedule and implementation strategy in various

phases of lifecycle i.e. Study SOW preparation preaward evaluations Engineering

procurement commissioning and start 150 up phases.

149xF020Carries out firewater demand estimation and prepare project specific fire and safety

philosophy to conceptual design for assigned project if necessary.

149xF020Carries out inhouse HAZOP studies where necessary to progress a project within defined

schedule limitations.

149xF020Prepares inhouse loss prevention engineering documents for FEED and detailed designs

for fast track critical projects where necessary to meet operational defined milestones and

deadlines.

149xF020Prepares project specific loss prevention datasheets for equipment where necessary to

progress a project or to meet operational defined milestones and deadlines.

149xF020Participates in value engineering and risk assessment activities. Ensures that end user

requirements are identified and met in a safe and reliable but cost effective manner.
