Senior Database Administrator Developer

Job Description We have an exciting position within Infrastructure on our IT team as a Senior Database AdministratorDeveloper. The individual will be responsible for the daytoday support and the development of the Schoolrsquos Microsoft SQL Server database environment. You will be required to perform regular administration tasks including performing backups managing scripts and queries data importsexports and supporting package deployments.

ITL Information Technology Library is part of Operations which includes Campus Developments Campus Services Accounts Procurement and IT and Library and is a combined Library and Information Technology department. It provides technology and information services to the School at its main London campus and teaching facilities in Dubai.



This includes IT infrastructure customer services business systems teaching technologies desktop operating systems and applications library stocks and collections management eLibrary remote library services for alumni and project programme management services to the wider school community.



The individual



The successful candidate will be degree qualified and have proven experience of database performance monitoring and tuning and will have a solid knowledge of ITIL best practice. Excellent organisational skills with a focus on delivering results are essential.



Relationship building and the ability to work with others to develop business solutions is key and previous experience in MS SQL 2008 DBA and Transact SQL is a requirement for this role.
