Employing over 100000 personnel in around 90 countries their strategy is to reinforce their position as a leader in the Oil Gas industry.They are currently recruiting for the position of Project Engineer based in Doha Qatar.Job Description Demonstrable previous experience with group companies is a prerequisite. Full accountability for delivering assigned projects from Assess to Execute including handover to Operations and formal closeout. Deliver Goal Zero on assigned projects with Focus on HSE quality and process safety throughout the project lifecycle Ensure assigned projects are executed in full compliance with group HSSE Framework including AIPSM and 22 Process Safety requirements group DEPs including DEM 1DEM2 Discipline Control Assurance Framework DCAF and project management standards and procedures iPMS Establish and maintain good and effective communication with all project stakeholders including PT process engineering and discipline engineers HSSE staff operations staff Turn Around Team procurement team and execution contractors. Development of Project Execution Strategies and Plans including management of interfaces and effective shutdown execution strategies for the assigned projects. Work with the Business Opportunity Managers BOMs to Frame assigned opportunities and projects Set up the Project team including Operations and maintenance representation Prepare and comply with Opportunity Assurance Plan and Project Control and Assurance Plan PCAP Develop Technical Scope definition for assigned projects including Concept Select Report Basis For Design and Basic Design Engineering Package Organize HAZOPsHAZIDs and follow up closeout of mitigation actions in order to demonstrate ALARP. Prepare scope packages for the execute contracts Manage the execute contractors engineeringconstruction etc. and will act as the prime focal point for these contractors for the assigned projects. Develop and implement effective progress and budget control and reporting using One Pagers monthly. Identify assess and manage project risks following effective risk management plan and demonstrating ALARP Develop share and incorporate lessons learnt throughout the lifecycle of the project. Adhere to Project Management of Change Procedures to sustain engineering design integrity. Comply with Quality Control Quality Assurance systems to cover the design implementation and commissioning phases of Projects. Sign Statement of Fitness for assigned projects confirming compliance with group DEPs and demonstrating ALARP. Ensure that Project Engineering documentation and records are kept uptodate and filed in the Project Live link Area. Ensure that As built documentation are uploaded into the AIMs. Develop and coach junior staff and local talent in the projects team. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of ways of working tools and procedures within Qatar Projects Hub.
