Job Summary

The Manager of Clinical Education for Allied Health Services is a key member of the educational leadership team and supports the departmentacirc128153s strategic direction. As a key member the manager

ensures that educational initiatives and processes support the standards for nursing care Sidra policies and regulatory requirements. The Manager works collaboratively with respective educators and unit staff to provide a safe and effective learning environment to support the transfer and maintenance of competence in Sidra employees in their respective practice setting. The Manager works with unit based educators to support application of learning theory and curricula design in the delivery of timely relevant and effective educational initiatives to meet Employee and patientfamily need. They provide the templates and assessment tools for all unit based educators. The Manager is responsible for identifying risks in educational processes informing leadership and actively participating in managing timely solutions. The Manager is expected to manage educational resources and evaluate current educational initiatives for effective learning.

Essential Requirements

• Degree in NursingAllied Health


• Masteracirc128153s in Education or related Health Professional Program


• 5 years managerial or coordinating experience in the delivery of Allied Health Services in a Paediatric acute care setting


• 2 years recent experience in an educator role in a Paediatric acute care setting


• Current Nursing License from country of origin


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite


• Fluency in written and spoken English
