Job Purpose

dnatarsquos travel business manages everything from business and incentive travel and worldwide tour operations ndash covering leisure sports and active holidays ndash through to hotel sales and marketing representation offshore and marine services and government and corporate services.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Operations Manager with dotted line reporting to GM dnata Abu Dhabi on Marketing Business Development and strategic activities. The job holder will grow and manage the Leisure Travel market in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications Experience

bullDegree in a related discipline

bullThorough knowledge of IATA rules and regulations involved in the operational area of a travel agency.

bullKnowledge of key account management the dnata sales process and dnata regulation.

bullExcellent knowledge of local UAE travel markets in general and Abu Dhabi in particular.

bullExperience in leading teams and motivating them to perform at optimal levels.

bullMust possess strong account management and financial skills and have the ability to work independently ensuring expanding and developing relationships with customers at a senior level.

bullPrior Knowledge of in product pricing contract negotiation and also must be familiar with the unique complexities associated with the hotel and travel industries and discerning customer requirements.

bullAdvanced fares and ticketing certificate from IATA or equivalent.

bullKnowledge of Front Office systemsAirline Reservation systems.

bullProficient in MS Office applications i.e. word and excel.

bullThe job holder a proven team player shall possess good conversational skills presentation skills established selling skills and be endowed with a high degree of patience in handling difficult clients
