The key account manager KAM will help drive the sales growth of Thermo Fisher Scientifics' Biosciences division at designated key accounts territories. The KAM will be responsible for all aspects of the key account management including indentifying opportunities for growth at key account understanding key account purchasing process develop good relationship with the customer to understand all customer requirements. Coordinate support needs of the key account with Thermo Fisher team members marketing operations and finance and channel partners are needed to solve any issues at the customer. Act in a professional manner to promote Thermo Fisher Scientific in all business transactions. Work as a team member to support the growth of Thermo Fisher's BID Chinamercial team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work closely with sales manager to achieve key accounts' quarterly and yearly sales targets
2. Responsible for effectively carrying out sales plan at key accounts which align with overall business strategies
3. Identify new sales opportunities with support from marketing and operational teams
4. Implement key account programs at key accounts. Track share of wallet at key accounts and develop programs to understand key customer requirements. Develop programs to support key accounts which best leverage Thermo Fisher's capabilities to meet and exceed the customer's expectations. Resolve customer issues by working closely with the support teams onmercial technical and operational matters
5. Develop close relationship with the customer and gain improved understanding of the customer's organization and purchase process to improve account penetration
6. Assist with AR collection as needed at key accounts by working with the finance teams
7. Successfully designing and organizing seminars with the marketing technical support teams to promote our products to present potential solution to problems at the customers
8. Collectpetitor and local market information to further develop sales and marketing strategies for specific key accounts
9. Work as part of the Thermo Fisher team and display qualities which will exemplify the core values of Thermo Fisher Scientific daytoday work
Minimum RequirementsQualifications
Acircmiddot Bachelor or advanced degree in biology molecular biology or life sciences with prior field and sales experience in sales or equivalent experiences
Acircmiddot Familiarity with the local biosciences markets and a minimum 3 years of career progression in the bioscience life sciences pharmaceutical or biopharma industries
Acircmiddot Goodmunication skills and track record of collaboration with team projects at key accounts
Acircmiddot Must be selfdirected and selfmotivated with a high bias for proactive action
Acircmiddot Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude
Acircmiddot Able to multitask and prioritize tasks based on aligned goals with the business
Acircmiddot Fluent oral and excellent English writing skills CET6 or BECVantage is preferred
Acircmiddot Basicputer knowledge including Microsoft Office
Acircmiddot Willingness to travel as needed up to 50.
