Field HSE Advisor Qatar Resident

An International Operating Company has a requirement for a Field HSE Advisor to join them on a staff basis.

Responsibilities

Support FEC activities particularly brownfield engineering projects including travel to suppliers fabrication yards construction activities in the field.

Develop and maintain quotfit for purposequot Safety and amp Health compliance programs.



Job Accountabilities

Subject Matter Expert responsible for performing activities to ensure compliance with HES requirements.

Safety oversight for Greenfield and brownfield contractors.

Implementation of the safe work system including confined space LOTO and Hot work.

Field IH support

Coordinate manage and implement behaviorbased Safety program

Consolidate and review office and field safety concerns manages and addresses those concerns.

Support contractor safety program via prebid preperformancestartup meetings.

Provide safety orientation to contractors.

Establishes HSE system training programs to ensure that all staff are aware of requirements.

Lead contractor safety meetings.

Conduct incident investigations and investigations into HSE systems failures.

Presents to company Management Team and external stakeholders as necessary.

Participate in risk assessments and hazard and operability studies.

Provide emergency response as needed.

And other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Office field based position interacting with all company departments and contractors to ensure that work is carried out in conformance with HSE policies procedures and industry good practice

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree

Min 10 years experience of relevant experience.

Broad knowledge of EampP matters HSE laws and regulations

High level of organizational and leadership skills.

Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills.

Good team player.
